Sheila DaBell specializes in clinical social work and has worked in a variety of settings including: Community Outpatient Mental Health, Nephrology, Corrections, and most recently independent practice. Sheila holds a Bachelors of Social Work degree and Associate of Art degree in Criminal Justice from Idaho State University, as well a master of Social Work degree from Walla Walla University.
She has extensive experience in the diagnosis of and treatment of a variety of clinical problems including: post-trauma, anxiety-related disorders, bereavement, mood disorders, addictions and psychotic disorders. She is trained in treating trauma from a neurobiological approach.
She is psychodynamic in orientation and uses a variety of treatment techniques including Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Dialectical Behavioral therapy. Sheila is passionate about Self-Regulation therapy and uses it as her primary modality of treatment. She works with adults, children and adolescents.
