I also work with individuals and families regarding chronic and terminal illness, and the impact of other medical concerns/interventions. I offer parenting classes. My focus is to work collaboratively with clients - identifying and bolstering their strengths as the resources for addressing their concerns and supporting movement towards their desired goal(s).

I am a Registered Social Worker (MSW). I have specialized in the treatment and prevention of disordered eating for over fifteen years. I work with adults, youth and couples around issues of trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, bereavement, job stress, personal growth, disordered eating, transition and career counselling. I incorporate Self Regulation Therapy (SRT) in the work I do with people because I find that the desired change occurs more quickly and gently. My clients have told me that they notice the changes happen from the inside and when they leave a session they feel refreshed. Family and friends frequently report the changes they notice in the person obtaining counselling after the person has obtained a few sessions. For example, the person is not as angry or they are more able to concentrate and make decisions. I work collaboratively with my clients from a strength based perspective to assist them in reaching the goals they have named for themselves.
