SRT Post Advanced Level

Post Advanced I: High Impact Trauma

A continuation of Advanced I: High Impact Trauma, the course will teach practitioners how to work with symptoms such as: mild traumatic brain injury, post concussion syndrome, chronic whiplash syndrome, convergence insufficiency and inability of smooth pursuit, hyperacusis, tinnitus, sleep issues, TMJ and bruxism, tactile defensiveness, and pain. The practitioner will also learn how to take a client through T-zero, Survivor guilt and work with airbag and seat belt injury.

Prerequisite: Must have completed Self Regulation Therapy Advanced Level I-IV.

Post Advanced II: Medical/Dental Trauma

A continuation of Advanced Medical/Dental Trauma, this course will teach practitioners how to work with cancer treatment and recovery, cardiac event and stroke recovery, labor and delivery complications for mother including C-section, multiple procedures, and amputations. Working through general anesthesia including ether and allergic or adverse reactions to anesthesia and/or medication will be discussed and demonstrated. Protocols for working with post surgical complications and symptoms such as migraines, pain syndromes including phantom limb pain, gastrointestinal issues, choking and breathing difficulties, and problems with temperature regulation will be taught.

Post Advanced III: Relational Trauma

A continuation of Advanced III: Relational Trauma, this three day course will focus on working with clients who have experienced extreme relational trauma such as prolonged abuse, survivors of war and political violence, and torture. The course is limited to 12 participants. Prerequisite: Must have completed Self Regulation Therapy Advanced Level I-IV and have at least two years experience working with relational trauma. DVD of SRT work with a client with relational trauma must be submitted with registration form.

Post Advanced IV: Global Activation

A continuation of Advanced IV: Global Activation, this three day course will focus on working with clients who have experienced events that have been globally activating to their nervous systems. We will cover working with psychosis, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, seizure disorders, OCD and other panic disorders, poisoning (mold, chemo treatments, toxic exposure), and more on working indirectly with birth trauma.

Post Advanced V: Working with Addiction

This new two day course will cover practical applications of Self Regulation Therapy as it applies to substance and process addictions, eating disorders and self-harming behaviour.

Post Advanced VI: Natural Disasters

This new three day course will cover working with the traumatic symptoms that result from experiencing a natural disaster such as fire, flood, hurricane/tornado, tsnumai, avalanche, earthquake, volcano, severe storms at sea or on land.
